Aston Martin’s flagship tourer, the Vanquish S is available to order now with improved performance and specification. With prices starting from £199,999 and first deliveries expected next month, the new model reworks the 5.9-litre V12 to pump out 595bhp, 27bhp more than the original model. The extra power knocks 0.3 seconds off the 0-62mph time, now taking only 3.5 seconds from a stand still. Below the glorious body, the new Vanquish has a quicker shifting eightspeed Tiptronic III gearbox mounted to the rear, along with adjusted dampers, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes, working together to provide a much sharper ride in its firmest settings. On the outside, the reworked Vanquish looks fairly similar to the previous model, but a few carbonfibre aerodynamic features, such as a revised front splitter and rear diffuser have been added. The twin exhaust have been replaced with a quad-exit system. Inside the car, the cabin remains mostly unchanged but a selection of new materials such as a satin chopped carbonfibre finish can be added to the centre console.

The new Vanquish available to order now and customers can order specific carbonfibre parts such as door mirror caps, bonnet louvres and door releases to add a further racing touch. The standard 20″ alloy wheels can be replaced with 5-spoke diamond turned wheels. Prices start at £199,999, a slight increase on the it’s predecessor but it still remains over £40,000 under the price tag of it’s main rival, the Ferrari F12
