Jaguar Land Rover have opened up their first ice driving academy. On the edge of the Artic Circle with exceptional views this is a wonderful new venture for Land Rover. Land Rover have used this site for the rigorous testing of their cars for some time to ensure they are fit for the cold climate conditions and snow and ice. This ensures that the terrain response systems are tested to their full capabilities and to the extreme.
Courses can be booked and you can test both current cars and some of the classis to show Land Rovers true ability from day 1 being able to push cars to the limits and take you anywhere. At the base of the cold weather testing facilities in Lapland the Range Rover Sport can be tested by guests of the academy on carved ice tracks on frozen lakes in the sub zero conditions.
January 2017 will see the start of the academy taking guests 3 or 4 night trips in the exceptional setting where you’re greeted by a personal driver who will look after you every step of the way at the once in a life time experience.
