Jaguar Land Rover were delighted to once again help Her Majesty the Queen celebrate her 90th Birthday. Earlier in the year the Queen paraded London in a Range Rover custom built and last weekend 15/05/2016 at the Royal Windsor Horse show she once again was able to celebrate with the help of Jaguar Land Rover.
The event, which took place in the private grounds of Windsor Castle saw talent including Kylie Minogue OBE, Dame Shirley Bassey, Gary Barlow, Alfie Boe, Jess Glynne, Beverley Knight MBE and Katherine Jenkins join 900 horses and more than 1,500 participants from all over the world to celebrate The Queen’s life, from her birth in 1926, through World War Two, to her Coronation in 1953 and a reign spanning more than 60 years.
All along side the royal family a display of award winning Jaguar F Types. Along with world class musicians around 900 horses from across the globe all gave the Queen and the world as they watched the celebrations an exceptional evening of entertainment and jaw dropping talent.
The enormous birthday cake was towed in upon a trailer by a Discovery. While Range Rovers also chauffeured the Royal Family. Jaguar Land Rovers relationship with the Royals dates back to 1951 when the Queens father King George VI awarded the first royal warrant.
It was a true honour for Jaguar Land Rover to take a part in this historic moment for such a wonderful monarch who has reined for 60 years. The display of the cars was a fantastic opportunity and they looked exceptional at such a prestigious event.
