On a drizzly February afternoon we held a winter barbeque for Guests of Grange Land Rover Swindon. On Sunday 21st February at the excellent venue of Winkworth Farm located in Lea Malmesbury we hosted a barbeque along with a photography master class, archery, face painting, the event catered for the whole of the Family. We even had a Range Rover and Range Rover Evoque inside which looked stunning in the Cotswold barn in the heart of the countryside location.

The Barbeque provided some delicious food to warm our guests up on the winters day. Catered by Sue and Andy Waring the barbeque cooked fresh out side had everything you could dream of from Duck and pheasant burgers to steak skewers and jerk chicken accompanied with tartiflette and some delicious salads and fresh breads. We also were treated to scrumptious sweet treats cupcakes, brownies lemon meringue tarts- truly delicious!

The Archery in the out side barn brought out the competitive side in the children and Adults alike along with the staff challenging each other. A great opportunity for our guests to embrace the outdoors and the ‘Hibernot’ theme of getting out and seeing winter differently. As they followed the track down to the archery where we had instructors who could help the technique. This was great fun with medals and cups being awarded to all of the children and even some of the parents.

The photography masterclass allowed our guests to learn from the professional photographer that we had at the barbeque to share tips on how to capture the perfect photograph. With the focus on using smart phones and tablets so our guests were able to learn how to capture a photo when they are out and find the stunning moment when exploring.

The cars took pride of place in the converted barn and were a great talking point for our guests.

The feedback from the event was excellent and we were thrilled the guests had such a good time at the barbeque. IMG_0112 IMG_0113 IMG_0114 IMG_0121 IMG_0122 IMG_0128 IMG_0131 IMG_0148IMG_0109IMG_0137IMG_0157IMG_1005
